CHRIST IS RISEN: The National Forum is pleased we have reached this milestone of being able to sing this significant and beautiful hymn of our faith in English as one, wherever we travel and whenever we gather from different parishes and Metropolises, just as we have been able to do with the Greek version. We encourage church musicians to work with their priests to start singing this version of the English as soon as possible. Various formats for presenting the hymn, in both Greek and English, are posted below. To provide your parish with some ideas for introducing the hymn, a list of practical "tips" for implementing the transition to the approved version has also been prepared. https://churchmusic.goarch.org/resources/christisrisen

NEW BYZANTIUM PUBLICATIONS: New Byzantium Publications provides free sheet music and educational information for use in Orthodox Christian churches, primarily churches that use both Greek and English in their services. The main goal of the translations is to offer ecclesiastical music in English put into common staff notation and Byzantine notation that is accurately translated, poetic, following the rules of Byzantine Chant, and can alternate easily with the traditional Greek versions. https://newbyz.weebly.com/
